When: Saturday-Sunday
What: The club’s 53rd Annual Horticultural Show.
Location: Fellows Riverside Gardens
Cost: Free
Details: Open to both youth and adults. Added this year are the Larry Whetson Heaviest Tomato Award and the Boe Korody Largest Zinnia Award. The best entry in each of these areas will receive a $25 award. Best of Section ribbons will be given for 14 other areas such as vegetables, annuals, perennials, etc. Entries will be received from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Glacier Outing - Kayak
When: Saturday, 9 to 11 a.m.
What: Glide along Lake Glacier and take in the natural beauty of one of our MetroParks’ lakes with a MetroParks naturalist.
Cost: $12 for Mahoning County residents, $15 NR.
Details: Register, pay at Ford Nature Center by today. Single and tandem kayaks are available. Half price for second person in tandem kayak. Age and experience restrictions may apply.

Sprout Club
When: Today, 1 to 2 p.m.
What: Join the Sprout Club this summer to learn about the amazing world of plants. Topics include: symbols of Ohio, wheat and The Little Red Hen, pasta.
Where: Fellows Riverside Gardens.
Cost: $15/series; $7/class
Details: For age 3-5, plus adult. Each class includes an activity and snack.
Family Fun Fridays
When: Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What: Take part in fun drop-in activities in the Family Garden, where families can learn and explore together. Special guests visit each week with activities such as yoga, a pop-up library, crafts, storytelling and more.

Cost: Free

Botanical Mornings
When: Friday, 9 to 10 a.m.
What: Discover the progress of seasons at Fellows Riverside Gardens with Lynn Zocolo. Then enjoy a complementary cup of coffee or tea in Kravitz’s Garden Caf .
