Alexis Cross led the Clippers with 14 kills and 19 digs. Morgan Highley made 21 digs and nine kills while Marisa McDonough made 12 kills. Emily Gosselin made 22 assists and six kills. Marlaina Frye scored 18 points with two aces and made 10 kills, five blocks and six assists for the Bulldogs (0-1, 0-1 (Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference0. Madee Foster scored eight points and made eight kills and 22 digs while Madyson Pinkett made23 digs and 22 assists. Jenn Rhodes made 37 digs and three kills, and scored six points. CANFIELD

For Canfield, Lilly Economus had three aces and 11 service points, Alyssa Householder had 15 assists and Grace Mangapora had eight kills. Poland’s Sydney Phillips had give kills and Carigan Stundstrom had 18 assists.

HOWLAND

Faith Grant had 15 kills and 10 points, Kathryn Summerfield had 37 assists and two blocks and Julia Gray had 23 digs for Howland (1-0). Myah Busse had 10 digs, Taylor Shaner had three points and Jane Parry had 10 assists for the Red Dragons (1-1).

NEWTON FALLS

Elizabeth Boone had 16 points, 11 kills, 15 digs and 16 assists for Newton Falls (3-0). Isabelle Kline had 16 kills, 14 digs and six blocks and Atlanta Spahlinget had 19 digs for the Tigers. Jackson-Milton’s Emily Williams had 10 assists, seven kills and 12 digs, Haley Iengyel had seven kills and 12 points and Grace McDevitt had three blocks.

Lexy Hanes had 12 kills, two blocks and three digs, Maddie Carl had 35 digs and one ace and Danielle Aulet had eight digs, four aces, two kills and seven assists for Mineral Ridge. Lisbon’s Kimmi Wiggers had six kills, eight digs and three aces, Hailee Carpenter had 35 digs and Izzy Perez had 21 assists and nine digs. JV: Lisbon, 26-24, 25-13.

Lori Wakefield had seven assists and three blocks for Maplewood, Bailey Lewis had 13 digs and seven receptions and Courtney Hubbard had nine digs and one block.

CANFIELD

Justin Montazeri scored the first and last goal for Canfield with assists by Brendon Mauer and Alec Simone, who also had one goal. RJ Thomas scored two goals assisted by Sam Accordino and Mauer. Accordino had one goal and Jack Villano had one goal assisted by Montazeri. For West Branch, David Sutton scored a goal assisted by Avery Francis. Jared Butler had 14 saves for West Branch and Jad Jadallah had six saves for Canfield.

CORTLAND

Tommy Rink scored five goals for the Rockets (3-0). Jared Bedlion scored twice and Tyler Black, Thomas Dorsey, Nick Gaylog, Matthew Palm, Matthew Sheely, Michael Stamm, Evan Hunter, Griffin Boyd, Logan Moser and Peyton Weaver had the other goals. Black and Dorsey each had two assists while Bedlion, Gaylog, Palm, Sheely, Stamm, Boyd and Seth Spencer each had one. Chase Walker registered a save.

Taylor Tomlinson scord three goals for the Irish. Abby Price and Bella Jones scored the other goals. Tomlinson,Jones, Adi Quattro and Gigi Hitchcock had assists. Jordyn Kennealy recorded three saves. For the Rebels, Kassity Miller scored both goals. Emma Norris and Jillian Beard had assists and Donna Finch made seven saves.

Olivia Myers scored Howland’s first goal assisted by Kendyl Buckley. Sara Ciletti scored next for the Tigers (1-0) with an assist from Kaitlyn Chambers. Tigers goalie Kamryn Buckley made five saves and Rachel Pugh made six saves for Poland (0-1).

Springfield’s Cierra Latronica had four goals and one assist. Kylee Kosek had two goals and two assists for the Tigers. Haley LaMorticella had a goal and two assists and Anjelina Booksing and Anna Ohlin each had one goal and one assist. Springfield (3-0) also received goals from Shantel Springer, Lexi Million and Abigail Catlos. Lex Slike made two saves for the Tigers and Leetonia’s Zoe Bruderly made 22 saves.

Paige Bailey made Salem’s single goal during the second half assisted by Lydia McKee. Bailee Thorn made 14 saves for Salem and Carolynn Thomas had five saves for the Red Dragons.

Morgan Briceland and Madison Montgomery scored the two goals for United and goalie Christina Moatz had five saves. Leigh Ann Knorzer scored Newton Falls’ goal and goalie Michaiah Butler made 25 saves.
