Zac Brown Tailgate Party at Lot M70

Come and visit the Phantom Fireworks Tailgate Party for tomorrow’s Zac Brown Band concert, on the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and Arlington Street. Lot opens at 2 p.m. and will have food vendors, music and beer sales. Doors to Stambaugh Stadium will open at 5:30 p.m.

Boardman Jazz Ensemble concert

The Boardman Summer Jazz Ensemble will play its final concert of the season Thursday at Boardman Park’s Maag Outdoor Theatre from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Bring a lawn chair and some friends to this free event. The Boardman Band and Orchestra Parents will be selling concessions.

Final concert of summer series

The final outdoor concert of the summer series in Riverwalk Park in New Castle is Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m. and will feature The Wrangler Band, a country-rock/classic rock band.

The family-friendly event will feature Kathy’s Catering, Mister Softee’s Ice Cream Truck and informational booths about arts and culture events in the area.

The Warren Civic Music will launch its 77th season with a concert featuring George Dyer, an accomplished tenor whose show will include songs from “Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Miserable” and arias from operas, big ballad songs and more. Tickets for the Sept. 19 show are $40 each and can be purchased at the box office or by calling 330-841-2931.
