UPDATE: Niles shooting victim is teenage boy

A teenager faces a felonious-assault charge after police say he shot his brother this afternoon at a home here.

A 16-year-old boy is in the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center.

Police received a call just after 1:30 p.m. today to respond to a shooting at the home on the 400 block of West Park Avenue.

The victim, believed to be the brother of the shooter, is in the hospital.

The victim also is a teenager, police said.
