Amy Reder and Breen Parry will marry this fall

MaryAnn Parry of Liberty is announcing the engagement of her son, Breen Parry of Charlotte, N.C., to Amy Reder, also of Charlotte. The prospective groom is also a son of the late Richard Parry. The bride-elect’s parents are David and Annette Reder of Charlotte.

The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Oct. 7 at St. Mathews Catholic Church in Charlotte with a reception following at 6 p.m. at The Club at Longview, also in Charlotte. Invitations will be issued for both events.

Miss Reder graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She works for Union County Public Schools in Matthews, N.C., as second-grade teacher.

Mr. Parry also graduated from M.U. with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a juris doctorate and master’s degree in business administration. He works for Xoom Energy LLC, Huntersville N.C., as a tax accountant.
