Polish festival seeks volunteers

In preparation for its ninth annual Polish Heritage Day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 27 at St. Anne’s Church, 4310 Kirk Road, organizers are seeking volunteers.

Volunteers of every age, skill and ability are welcome. Help is needed for everything from set up and take down to ticket sales, helping with the pirogi-eating contest, and assisting in cultural display and children’s areas. Various shifts are available. Every volunteer gets free admission and a T-shirt while supplies last.
