Man arrested on warrant allegedly exposed himself to woman

AUSTINTOWN

Township police responded to a call Thursday afternoon that a man exposed himself to a female employee at GNC, 5880 Mahoning Ave., after purchasing a male-enhancement supplement.

According to a police report, Shedrick Nichols, 21, of Riblet Avenue, Youngstown, was taken into custody after police determined he had an active warrant out of Girard Municipal Court. He was released Thursday night from the Trumbull County jail after he was arrested in Austintown earlier that day, reports said.

The report says Nichols allegedly returned to GNC after making a purchase and exposed his genitals and said, “These supplements really work.”

Nichols left the store and went to Dollar General, where police found him, the report said.

Nichols told police “he never exposed himself to the female at GNC, but his zipper was down,” the report said.

Nichols was found guilty of public indecency twice in Mahoning County, once earlier this year in Boardman, and once in 2016 in Austintown.
