The suspect in a July 31 beating captured on cellphone video in the parking lot of a South Side gas station pleaded guilty Wednesday to a probation violation in municipal court.
Judge Elizabeth Kobly sentenced Tracey Shuler, 47, of West Warren Avenue, to 30 days in the Mahoning County jail with credit for eight days served.
Shuler was on probation after a no-contest plea to a charge of criminal trespass for being at the 3200 Market St. Shell Station.
Shuler was there July 31 when reports said cellphone video showed him beating another man after he was offered $20 to knock him out and was egged on by patrons at the station.
The victim in the fight, James Underwood, 64, is being treated for his injuries at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Shuler is charged with felonious assault for the beating and is in jail in that case on a $90,000 bond.
