Concert to benefit St. Vincent kitchen

A concert by Paul Todd and Paul Todd Jr. will take place Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel basilica social hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel. Tickets are $15, and all proceeds benefit the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. Call 330-743-4144 or 330-565-3155.
The father-son duo perform an uplifting show that includes classical, gospel, Broadway, swing, pop and other styles of music. The senior Todd plays six keyboards and sings while his son sings and plays drums. The two have performed together for 10 years.
Their most-requested songs are “The First Lady in My Life” and “One Star.”
‘Jesus Stories’ at Dutch Village

“The Jesus Stories ... Faith, Forks and Fettuccini,” an original comedy-drama musical about Jesus sitting around the dinner table with others, will be presented Aug. 17 at noon, and Aug. 18 at 7 p.m., at Dutch Village Inn, 150 E. state Route 14.
The matinee includes a four-course plated luncheon including beverages and dessert. Tickets are $44.50 per person plus a $2 per person ticketing fee.
The evening performance features a four-course gourmet buffet including beverages and dessert. Tickets are $49.50 per person with a $2 per person ticketing fee.
A $5 per person discount is applied to each ticket for groups of eight or more.
“The Jesus Stories” is a production of Ted and Company of Harrisonburg, Va., starring Ted Schwartz and Jeff Raught.
