Thief gets away with $170 from Belmont Avenue dollar store

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a man with a gun got about $170 cash after pointing a gun Sunday at an employee of Dollar General, 1370 Belmont Ave.

Reports said officers were called to the store about 6:50 p.m. where the employee said one of two men who came in to the store pulled a gun and told the employee to empty the register.

The two men then ran away, reports said.
