Pair indicted in June 23 killing on West Side

A Mahoning County grand jury Thursday indicted a man and woman arrested June 23 in a homicide on the West Side.

Dashonti Baker, 23, and Barraya Hickson, 23, both of Millet Avenue, and now in the county jail, are charged with aggravated murder and murder with a firearm specification along with obstruction of justice for the shooting death of Rae’venna Faircloth-Thomas, who was found dead of several gunshot wounds in the front seat of an SUV on Oneta Street.

Baker faces an additional charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The pair was arrested a couple of hours after the victim was found and have been in jail since their arrest.

Police have not yet given a motive for the death of Faircloth-Thomas.

Kali J. Desimone, 21, Kriedler Lane, Poland, aggravated possession of drugs.

Shikela Rozier, 23, Overlook Avenue, and Ricky D. Williams III, 24, North Truesdale Avenue, aggravated burglary.

Kent Holtzman, 42, Flo Lor Drive, burglary.

Tanicqwa T. Wilkerson, 26, Gaither Street, two counts receiving stolen property, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of a dangerous drug and physical control.

Audrey Foose, 22, South Schenley Avenue, domestic violence.

Erik A. Simpson, 19, Tibbetts-Wick Road, Hubbard, passing bad checks, grand theft and attempted grand theft.

Colton Lee Butler, 20, Lake Park Boulevard, Salem, aggravated possession of drugs and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Brian Benson, 27, Cameron Avenue, possession of cocaine, two counts possession of drugs and a forfeiture specification.

Frederick Froggett, 65, Youngstown Hubbard Road, possession of cocaine.

Keith Jones, 32, Market Street, tampering with evidence, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine.

Charmaine Moore, 36, Woodford Avenue, possession of cocaine.

Jarrod J. Kish, 38, Ridge Road, Cortland, possession of cocaine.

Matthew J. Krivanek, 26, Timber Run Court, Canfield, two counts attempted burglary, theft and criminal trespass.

Jessica L. Lasater, 29, Cunningham Road, Salem, two counts endangering children, possessing drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brittany Harmouche, 30, Indianola Avenue, possession of heroin.

Damon Irby, 41, Senaca Street, being a felon in possession of a firearm and tampering with evidence.

Rodney Madison, 41, Hermitage, Pa., possession of heroin, possession of cocaine and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia with forfeiture specifications.

Ashley Rock, 27, Cabot Street, burglary, possession of cocaine and obstructing official business.

Garell Williams, 24, Brooklyn Avenue, being a felon in possession of a firearm and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

James A. Boston Jr., 35, Pine Street, Leetonia, and Sarah D. Drye, 30, Chestnut Street, Leetonia, aggravated possession of drugs and possessing drug-abuse instruments.

Cassie A. Watts, 29, Maryland Street, Warren, theft.

Paul Francis Armocida, 58; Penny Lynn Armocida, 49; and Lori Anne Marshall, 30, all of New Castle Avenue, Sharon, Pa., theft, aggravated possession of drugs and theft.

Joseph J. Kucala, 55, Sunnybrook Drive, possession of a dangerous drug and illegal use of drug paraphernalia.

Louis Jeswald, 23, Almerinda Drive, Canfield, theft of drugs.

Brandon Newell, 20, Morgan Avenue, Alliance, two counts of identity fraud, menacing by stalking and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

Steven Little II, 37, New Castle, Ind., rape and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
