2 killed, 1 wounded in Warren shooting

Two people were killed and a third wounded in a shooting at Solar Lane N.W. and Southern Boulevard N.W. that occurred at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.

Police were still at the scene at 11 p.m. collecting evidence.

It was reported that two females and a male were involved, but it was not known who was killed nor their names or ages.

One was transported to a hospital, reported the Trumbull County 911 Center.

The shooting led to a car, possibly containing the victims, to ram a house, according to Trumbull 911.

Sections of Solar Lane and Southern Boulevard, where the shootings occurred and where a large crowd gathered, were blocked off.

Calls received from residents by Trumbull 911 revealed the confusion at the scene, which was added to by downed power lines.

One caller reported that the people in the car were shooting at each other after which it hit the house. Another said no one was moving inside the car and another said one was breathing.

One caller told Trumbull 911 that five or six shots were heard, and yet another said a man in cargo pants on a bicycle was shooting.
