Canfield ABWA will meet Wednesday

Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter of ABWA will meet at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Social will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. The menu consists of hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, fruit, coffee and tea and brownies. The newly elected members have taken on the responsibilities of their offices. They are Jolyn Bush, president; Elena Nigro, vice president; Sharon Pasquale, treasurer; and Kay Myers, secretary. Meals on Wheels plans bus trip

Shriners Club sponsors bike run

The “Love to the Rescue” Bike Run, sponsored by Youngstown Shrine Club, will be on Aug. 6. The event starts at Biketown Harley Davidson, 5700 Interstate Blvd., Austintown, and will end at the Youngstown Shrine Club, 1735 W. South Range Road, North Lima. Registration begins at 10 a.m., and the motorcycles go out at noon. Tickets are $15 for riders and passengers and includes door prizes and meal ticket.
