Warren PD: Man did not wake after 10 doses of Narcan

WARREN — Reports said a man who received 10 doses of Narcan about 10:45 p.m. in the parking lot of a 3379 Elm Road NE gas station was still not able to be awakened.

Police were called for a man in a pickup truck unresponsive and when the arrived they found the man passed out in the driver’s seat. Reports said an officer checked for a pulse and found only a very faint one.

Paramedics administered the Narcan and were able to get the man’s breathing under control but could not wake him up.

Inside the man’s wallet was a bag with brown powder inside. reports said.

The man was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
