Two Ursuline Sisters celebrate 50th anniversaries in August

Canfield

The Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown will celebrate the golden jubilees of Sisters Therese Ann Rich and Regina Rogers on Sunday at the Motherhouse in Canfield with a 1 p.m. Mass in the chapel and a luncheon to follow in the dining room. Invitations have been issued.

Sister Mary McCormick, general superior of the Ursuline Sisters, recognized the contributions of the two sisters to their religious community. “All Ursuline Sisters rejoice with our Golden Jubilarians, Sister Therese Ann and Sister Regina, and give thanks to God for their gifts,” she said. “Both have served the educational needs of the church as well as served the Ursuline Sisters in leadership.”

Also celebrating jubilees as Ursuline Sisters this year are Sisters Marlene LoGrasso, 60 years; Mary O’Leary, 65 years; and Francis Marie Sopko, 70 years.
