Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course kicked off Responsible Gaming Education Week on Monday.

This year’s theme for gaming is: “Beat the Oddz” Wizard of Oz.

The American Gaming Association’s Responsible Gaming Education Week is observed nationally from July 31 to Aug. 4 to call attention to the issue of problem gaming, and educate the public on how to recognize the problem and what resources are available for those who need help.

Hollywood Gaming will conduct a weeklong series of responsible gaming-themed programs and activities for its patrons and the community.

Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley is located off state Route 46 and is open 24 hours a day. The 25,000- square-foot gaming facility has more than 1,000 slot machines and live horse racing that includes a one-mile thoroughbred racetrack featuring more than 1,000 enclosed, track-view grandstand seats and a simulcast theater where patrons can wager every day on races at tracks throughout North America.
