The Youngstown Rifle & Pistol Club, 8920 Shaffer Road, will have a high-power match at 9 a.m. Sunday.
The match is open to the public, and the cost is $35 and includes 30-06 ammunition.
Participants can use their own rifles, but if they’re not 30-06, they must bring their own ammunition. If you need an M1 rifle, or for more information, call Mike at 234-855-6909.

Campground to open
Hermitage, Pa.
The Shenango Campground will open for the 2017 recreation season May 19.
Prices range from $19 to $24 per night, and reservations for specified sites can be made up to six months in advance of arrival. Beginning in July, the campground will no longer accept cash or checks, and campers will be required to pay with credit or debit cards.

MSWCD plans food plot and habitat seminar

The Mahoning Soil & Water Conservation District is hosting a food plot and habitat seminar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 3 at On Target Outfitters, 7209 W. Calla Road.
The seminar will be an in-depth, hands-on approach to food plot and habitat establishment, management and practical applications.

CCW class
Poland
The New Middletown Farmers & Sportsman’s Club, 3341 E. Calla Road, is having a CCW class from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 17.
The cost is $90 and includes all classroom material, targets, coffee and muffins in the morning, and a light lunch. A safe, functioning pistol, 50 rounds of ammunition, and eye and ear protection are required.
