Run, Resource Fair at Firestone Park

COLUMBIANA

Leadership Columbiana County’s 5-kilometer Zombie Run and Resource Fair will take place Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to noon at Firestone Park. The free Kids Run will begin at 8:45 a.m., followed by the Adult Run at 9 a.m. The Resource Fair will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and will showcase opportunities for youth involvement in Columbiana County. There also will be a silent auction. Proceeds benefit Junior Leadership Columbiana County and the Brightside Project. Spring choral concert at YSU

YOUNGSTOWN

The Dana School of Music’s annual Spring Choral Concert II featuring the Youngstown State University Barbershop, University Chorus and Dana Chorale groups, along with conductors, Hae-Jong Lee and Stephen West, will take place Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Bliss Recital Hall, lower level of Bliss Hall. The program is free and open to the public.

Parking is available in the M30 Wick Avenue parking deck via Walnut Street (GPS address is 100 Wade Street, Youngstown OH 44502) for a nominal fee. Patrons are advised to watch for posted detours as construction progresses on Wick Avenue.
