Ursuline scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh, but it wasn’t enough to force extra innings. Jake Freisen and Jimmy Kerrigan each scored two runs for Ursuline.

Boardman 5, Warren Harding 1

Alex Cardona went all seven innings, striking out five and allowing just one hit. Gavin Strines worked two walks and scored two runs. Grant Williams had the lone hit for Harding.

Howland 4, Austintown Fitch 3

Dylan Keller pitched a complete game for Howland allowing three runs on four hits and striking out four. Frank Rappach and Spencer Shilling had two hits each for the Tigers. Jeremiah Papa and Vinny Direnzo had an RBI and a hit each for Fitch.

Campbell 11, Brookfield 1

Darion Jones and Joey Michaels each had three RBIs while Seth Jackson also had two hits for Campbell. John Lipinski got the win, allowing one earned run through 31/3 innings and Joel Flores pitched 22/3 innings of scoreless baseball to close the game. Hunter Sheehan and Chad Filipovich each had a hit for Brookfield.

Edgewood 5, Hubbard 0

Frank Sloan pitched a complete game, striking out seven Hubbard batters and walking two. Josh Bleil had two hits, including a home run and finished with two RBIs. Kent Kroynovich had two hits to lead the Eagles (12-5, 4-3 All-American Conference White) while Dom Hover doubled.

South Range 19, Springfield 7

Anthony Ritter led the way for South Range (13-4) with three hits and four RBI. Ethan Dominguez added two hits and three RBI for the Raiders. Randy Skripac, Brandon Youngs, Brycen James, and Josh Stear had two RBI each. John Ritter had two hits and two RBI for Springfield (6-9).

Jackson-Milton 9 Mineral Ridge 0

Sebastian Lay no-hit Mineral Ridge, striking out 17 in seven innings. Noah Laster had two hits and two stolen bases, Scott Mitchell had two hits, including a double and John Voland also had a double for the Bluejays (13-3, 8-0 Inter-Tri County Blue).

McDonald 10, Sebring 5

Nick Shiley went 3-for-4 with six RBIs in McDonald’s win over Sebring. Joey Sudol went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, Dale Wolford scored three runs and Dylan Portolese went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Brandon Gray went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Sebring.

Columbiana 14, Leetonia 0

Keenan Green and Chase Franken each homered for Columbiana (15-2). Green had two hits and three RBI, while Franken went 3-3 and had two RBI and scored three runs. Tim Davin added four RBI on two hits for the Clippers.

Marlington 3, West Branch 1

Brock Begue tossed a four-hitter for the Dukes (8-6. 6-2 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). He struck out 11 and walked one. Brendan Stiwor’s two hits included a double and he drove in two runs. For the Warriors (14-5, 6-3), Seth Schroeder, Cole Bates, Josh Stabler and Jon Snyder had hits.

Bristol 4, Mathews 2

Matt Sloan had two hits and two RBI to lead Bristol. Tyler Dempsey also had two hits for the Panthers. Dillon Canter had two hits for Mathews (8-2), including a double.

Howland 11, Austintown Fitch 6

Leah Pollifrone had three hits, including two triples in Howland’s win over Fitch. Reanne Litz had three singles and an RBI while Sara Price had a three hits as well, including a home run and two RBIs. Kayla Kelty had two hits, including a double and an RBI while McKenzie Luknis had four singles and two RBIs for the Falcons.

Champion 16, East 0

McKenzie Zigmont and Sophie Howell combined to pitch a five-inning perfect game. Zigmont struck out seven for the Golden Flashes (18-0, 10-0 AAC Blue). Zigmont homered and drove in four runs with her four hits. Jackie Mulvain also had four hits while Gabby Hollenbaugh drove in three runs.

Hubbard 6, Edgewood 0

Addy Jarvis tossed a two-hit shutout. She struck out 14 and walked none. Lea Munnell drove in two runs and Jarvis doubled. Emma Wukelich, Mikayla Smith and Annie Zagorec each had three hits. Lucie Mozzocco had one of Edgewood’s hits.

Lakeview 7, Struthers 1

Winning pitcher Cait Kelm struck out 19 and walked two in tossing a five-hitter for the Bulldogs (13-4, 8-2 AAC White). Tori Wells smacked three homers and drove in five runs. Avery Steiner had four hits and Marissa Zoccali had two. Kylee Mann drove in two runs. For the Wildcats, Emily Grandy’s two hits included a homer.

Brookfield 20, Campbell 3

Gabby Schiska tossed a two-hitter, striking out eight and walking three. Kenzie Drapola had five hits and drove in six runs. Lauren Pesa’s three hits included a double and she drove in two runs. Ella Simcox had three hits while Chloe Willrich drove in three runs.

Springfield 3, South Range 2

Josie Applegarth limited South Range to five hits while recording two strikeuts and no walks. Springfield (15-2, 3-2 ITCL Red) scored their runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, sparked by Lindsey Druschel’s lead-off triple. Marlie Applegarth singled to drive in two runs. For South Range (10-4) Felicia Gatta and Hope Thomas both hit doubles. Caragyn Yanek gave up five hits and walked three.

Columbiana 17, Leetonia 2

Alyssa Thom struck out seven for the Clippers’ 18th consecutive win. She also hit three doubles and a single. Kennedy Fullum knocked in five RBIs on three hits. Alexis Cross had three RBIs on a double and two singles. Morgan Highley and Marisa McDonough each hit a double and a single. Leetonia’s Lissie Lorch and Christy Eckman each it a double and a single.

Mineral Ridge 9, Jackson-Milton 4

Hannah Ramsey and winning pitcher Ariel Laneve each drove in two runs for the Rams. Lexy haynes’ three hits included a triple. For the Bluejays, Megan Fultz had two hits and two RBIs while Sierra Pierce and Katie Rago each had two hits.

Lisbon 23, Southern 2

Autumn Oehlstrom had two hits and drove in five runs to lead the Lisbon offense. Devyn Flory added three hits and three RBI and Kennedy Vrable had three hits and four RBI.

McDonald 15, Sebring 0

Cheyenne Titus pitched all five innings, striking out 10 while allowing just one hit and issuing one walk in the blowout win. Titus also went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Megan Ward and Rachel Ward each scored three runs and Hannah Donkers had three RBIs and a run scored as well. Gabrielle Lozoya had the lone hit for Sebring.

Western Reserve 9, Lowellville 8

Gracie Wayland led the Western Reserve (8-4) offense with two hits and three RBI. Layla Woolf added three hits and Bobbi Bernhard had a hit and an RBI for the Blue Devils. Hannah Johnston had two hits and two RBI for Lowellville.

Carrollton 8, Salem 0

Brooke Veglia and Clara Janofa had hits for Salem. Brenna Campbell had three hits and three RBI and Shelbee Stidom pitched a complete game shutout with seven strikekouts for Carrollton.

West Branch 7, Louisville 1

Kylie Coffelt and Kelsey Byers combied to toss a two-hitter for the Warriors (14-4, 8-1 NBC). Bailey Byers hit two doubles while Grace Heath had two hits. Coffelt doubled. For the Leopards, Ellie Jackson and Savannah Miner singled.
