Beatitude House will host its annual wine taste and auction at 5:30 p.m. May 5 at The Embassy, 5030 Youngstown-Poland Road. Tickets are $75 per person or $600 for a table of eight. Jess Briganti of WFMJ-TV 21 will emcee, and jazz music will be performed by Stan Miller.

The event will begin with appetizers, coupled with samples of wines and craft beers from local providers. A full-course dinner will follow with vegetarian options, and a cookie table will be prepared by local bakers.

In addition to live, silent and ticket auctions, there will be a mystery wine pull, with bottles ranging in value from $10 to $300.

Auction items include destination vacation packages to Disney World, Maui, Atlantis Resort, and a weekend shopping trip in Chicago. Other items include an evening of wine and food pairing for six at Luva Bella Winery with Marisa Sergei, RedHead Wine entrepreneur; a six-course dinner with Chef’s Tasting Table for eight hosted by Brian Palumbo in the Vault at Selah Restaurant, or an evening of private party entertainment with Stan Miller. Other bidders can win a set of replacement windows by Window World or a Kate Spade purse, full of cash.

There will be more than 100 baskets and items offered in the silent and ticket auctions, including a private tour of the Tyler History Center followed by a meal downtown; tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; and the new “Logan” doll with accessories from American Girl.
