Education: A law degree and a master of public administration degree in 1996 from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and the Levin College of Urban Affairs; a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University in 1991; and a 1987 Ursuline High School graduate.
Family: Wife, Virginia; two daughters.
Priority: Continued focus on improving the cleanup of the city through demolition, continued attention to infrastructure improvements, developing the downtown amphitheater and park project, working to combat the high infant-mortality rate, and improving city parks.
JAMAEL TITO BROWN
Age: 45

Employment: Director of operations at the Mahoning County Treasurer’s Office.
Education: A master’s degree in 2005 in counseling from Youngstown State University; a bachelor’s degree from YSU in 1995; and a 1990 graduate of The Rayen School.
Family: Wife, Lynette; four children.
Priority: The residents of Youngstown, who deserve the same as other communities; an economic-development department that is equal to or better than Akron, Cleveland or Canton; implement an economic vision, job retention and recruitment program; and to make our neighborhoods safer and brighter.
