Massillon Perry 3, Boardman 2
An RBI single in the top of the seventh for Perry (10-5) was decisive after Boardman loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh but couldn’t score. Luke Cardillo had two hits including a double for the Spartans (8-9).
Hubbard 7, Elyria Catholic 4
Nick Ferrara struck out five and walked two more in a win at Progressive Field in Cleveland over Elyria Catholic (12-3). Tim Herberger had a double and two RBIs while Lukas Mosora, Kent Kroynovich and Hunter Meyer each had two hits for Hubbard (11-4).
Tallmadge 10, Cardinal Mooney 4
Tallmadge jumped out to a 5-0 lead before Mooney struck with four runs in the fourth inning but could get no closer. Tallmadge came back with five runs betweeen the fifth and sixth innings. Mooney outhit Tallmadge 11-9.
Canfield 16, Proctor (N.Y.) 4
Spencer Woolley had two hits and 3 RBI for Canfield (9-2) with one of his hits being a home run. Anthony Longo had two doubles and three RBI and Jack Rafoth, Alex Hernandez, and Richie Juliano each had a two run double. With the win, Canfield advances to the Mingo Bay Classic Big School Bracket Championship game, today in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Niles 6, Struthers 4
Tyler Srbinovich scored three runs to go with two hits and an RBI for Niles. Srbinovich also had 10 strikeouts, pitching all but the final out, when Corbin Foy came in to earn the save. Foye added a hit and an RBI offensively. Jared Lazcko had two hits and an RBI for Struthers.
East Palestine 14, Columbiana 6
Jordan Fristik was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs (7-7) while going 3-for-5 from the plate as well. Marshall Huddleston also went 3-for-4 with a double in the win. Chase Franken went 2-for-4 for Columbiana in the loss.
Western Reserve 5, Wellsville 4
Justin Ciccone had three hits, two RBI, and two runs scored for Western Reserve (12-2, 5-1 Inter Tri-County Blue). Dom Velasquez had two hits and two runs and struck out two batters in a save opportunity. Anthony Petrelle knocked in a runa nd had three hits for Wellsville (5-7).
Mathews 11, Lordstown 1
Jordan Brown hit a three-run home run, Anthony Oulton had two hits and two RBI, and Brandon Smith had two RBI to lead the Mathews (8-1) offense. Anthony Oulton was the winning pitcher, striking out four.
Lisbon 12, Crestview 0
Noah Barners got the win pitching six innings with three strikeouts. Noah also had a run an RBI and a stolen base. Colin Sweeney had three hits and four RBIs for Lisbon.
South Range 8, Jackson Milton 3
Josh Stear had three hits and Jack Bajerski had two hits both were RBIs. Sam Brooks got the win with seven innings pitched and three strikeouts for South Range.
Liberty 12, Warren Harding 11
James Spisak hit a walk off three-run home run to lift Liberty (5-9) over Harding. Spisak was 3 for 5 on the day at the plate. Liberty was down 11-7 going into the bottom of the seventh inning. Ty Leshnack had three hits and an RBI for the Leapords. Brandon Arnold had two hits and two RBI for Harding.
Garfield 9, Mineral Ridge 3
Ty Lukehart had two hits and two RBIs for Mineral Ridge.
SOFTBALL
Ursuline 7, Brighton (N.Y.) 1
Emma Ericson did it all for Ursuline striking out eight batters and had two hits including an RBI double. Macy Ross had a three run double that broke the game open, putting the Irish up 6-1.
Ursuline 6, Penfield (N.Y.) 1, 8 innings, Thursday
Ursuline scored five runs in the top of the eigth inning to secure a victory. Jordyn Kenneally pitched all eight innings for the Irish, allowing judt three hits and striking out 10. Destiny Goodnight had a two run double for the Irish and Gia Calderone had two hits.
Champion 9, St. Vincent St. Mary 2
McKenzie Zigmont picked up the win, striking out eight for her seventh win of the year. Megan Turner had three hits, including a home run and a triple. Carli Swipas had three hits and Molly Williams had two for the Golden Flashes (14-0).
South Range 9, Poca (W.Va.) 3
Felicia Gaeta had three hits, including a triple and two RBIs for the Raiders (9-3). Morgan Smith had three hits including a double while Caragyn Yanek had two hits, including a double. Yanek also got the win, pitching five innings, striking out three and walking one, improving her record to 8-2. Sophia Pallotta picked up the save.
Poland 6, Jefferson 5
Harley Kish’s game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh won it for the Bulldogs (5-7). She went 2-for-4 with two RBIs while Brooke Bobbey pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and striking out six. Ashley Wire went 2-for-3 with an RBI while Amanda Wire had two RBIs. Brenna Hagerdon hit a two-run homer for the Falcons.
Springfield 13, Revere 3
Springfield pitcher Josie Applegarth picked up her tenth mound win of the season as she struck out five and walked one. Nikki Bovo smacked two singles and two doubles, scored four runs, drove in two runs and stole two bases. Lindsey Druschel drove in three runs with a single and a triple and scored two times. Springfield improved to 12-1 on the season.

Marisa McDonough gets the shutout on the mound pitching seven innings with five strikeouts. Taylor Ross had two singles and scored the game winning run.
Garfield 13, Mineral Ridge 0
Katie Synnestvedt registered a single, two doubles, and four RBIs. Emma Trent had two singles, two runs and three RBIs in the win for Garfield.
Jackson-Milton 12, Niles 0
Sierra Pierce threw a no-hitter, striking out 12 and walking none in the win. Pierce also had three hits and six RBIs at the plate while Jenna Seka had three RBIs. Megan Fultz also had two hits for the Bluejays (8-5, 4-2 ITCL Blue).
Crestview 10, Lisbon 5
Emma Smith went 3 for 4 for the Rebels with two RBIs and four runs scored while MacKenzie Daub and Whitney Cope each with 2 for 4. Autumn Oehlstrom went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and a run scored for Lisbon.
