Gina Strauss, Brad Hoersten plan Sept. 16 rite

Tom and Cheryl Strauss of Youngstown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Gina Marie Strauss, to Brad Hoersten. The couple reside in Chicago. The prospective groom is the son of Mark and Beth Hoersten of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

A ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 16 at St. Christine Church. A reception will follow at The Lake Club in Poland. Invitations will be issued for the events.

Miss Strauss graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in marketing. She is a global marketing manager for QST Industries Inc. in Chicago.

Mr. Hoersten graduated from Purdue University with a degree in business management. He is a sales manager with Schindler Elevator Corp. in Chicago.
