Police investigating after boy found wandering Belmont Avenue

YOUNGSTOWN — Police and Mahoning County Children's Service Board workers are investigating after a child was found wandering around Belmont and Lora avenues.

Several bystanders called 911, a supervisor said.

Paramedics examined the boy, who appears to be about 2 years old. The boy was watching cartoons with a police officer.

No one has come yet for the child
