Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA will meet May 9 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and a business meeting will follow. The menu is creamed chicken over biscuit, roast pork, mashed potatoes, California vegetable blend, tossed salad, applesauce, gelatin and apple cake for dessert. Canfield Republican Women’s Club dinner meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 3 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Retired U.S. Marine Corps Col. Brian Kennedy, who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, will be the speaker. He will discuss the Constitution and the military. Dinner will be a buffet, $15 per person.
