“Nova” (9 p.m., PBS): A powerful new installment of “Nova” joins an archeological excavation in the Lithuanian city of Vilnius, once known as “Jerusalem of the North.” Unearthed is a 100-foot escape tunnel used by Holocaust survivors during WWII.

“Fargo” (10 p.m., FX): The snow-capped crime anthology makes a welcome return. For Season 3, the story is set in 2010 and centers on two brothers — both wonderfully played by Ewan McGregor. One is a handsome real-estate mogul. The other is a balding, pot-bellied parole officer. Their sibling rivalry will send them down a very dangerous path.

Packard band in free concert

WARREN

The Packard Band will present “Sounds Of Our Youth” on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW. Jesse Leyva, director of bands at Kent State University, will be the guest conductor for the free concert, with Professor Allan R. Mosher of Youngstown State University as narrator.

Kailey Coughlin, clarinet, from Lakeview High School and winner of the Robert E. Fleming Memorial Concerto Competition, will perform “Rondo” from the Mozart Clarinet Concerto as a soloist. The program also will include “Children of the Regiment,” “The March of the Siamese Children,” “Elegy For A Young American,” music from “Young Person’s Guide To John Williams” and the narration “Casey At The Bat.”
