Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road (corner of Kirk Road and Route 46), Austintown, will serve Supper at the Corner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Donations will be accepted to continue the program.
Palmy Chapter 114, OES, will host a soup and salad dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Deerfield Masonic Lodge, 2380 state Route 225, Deerfield. The menu includes your choice of sausage tortellini, cranberry bean and ham, potato or chicken noodle soups or chili with tossed salad, crackers, bread, dessert and beverage for $6. VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. sponsored by the auxiliary. Prices are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.
Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Boardman, at the corner of Market Street and Western Reserve, will host a beef-tips and noodles takeout dinner from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Dinner is $8 and includes Angus beef tips, homestyle noodles, corn, roll with butter and a homemade cookie. Drive to the back door to place your order; it will be taken to your car. FRIDAY
Argus Lodge 545, 5050 Shields Road, Canfield, will serve dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall. Proceeds will benefit lodge charities. Menu consists of fish or chicken tenders, french fries, coleslaw, dinner rolls, coffee or soft drink and dessert. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children 9 and under at the door. Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Great Hall, 762 Fifth St., Struthers, will sell takeout pasta fagioli and haluski from noon to 5 p.m. or until sold out. Fagioli is $6 per quart, and haluski with homemade spaetzle is $8 per quart. There is no need to get out of your car. Pull up under the hall awning to be served. It is not necessary to order in advance, but it is encouraged by calling 330-719-4998. Proceeds will defray the cost of the seventh and eighth grade trip to Niagara Falls.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
SATURDAY
Aut Mori Grotto will host its monthly all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon at its banquet hall, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. The menu will include sausage, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, potatoes, coffee and juice. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under 10 and free for those under 3. Christ Community Church, 531 Neoka Drive, Campbell, is hosting a spaghetti dinner and basket raffle from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. Our Lady of the Lake Men’s Club will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at St. James Parish, 50 Rosemont Road, North Jackson. Dinner includes salad, homemade dessert, and beverages, and will cost $8 for adults and $5 for children 11 and younger. Takeout will be available.
TAKING ORDERS
Girard First United Methodist Church, 22 N. Market St., is taking orders for individual ham loaves for $2.50 each. Orders are due April 28 by calling the church office, 330-545-4361. Pickup will be from noon to 3 p.m. May 8.
