UPDATE | Suspect arrested in North Side homicide

YOUNGSTOWN — City police have identified the victim in an early morning shooting Monday as 52-year-old Michael Brooks.

Suspect Jermaine Anthony Tubbs has turned himself into police.

Tubbs had fled prior to the police arriving at 12:30 a.m. to the crime scene at 245 Dupont Ave. on the North Side.
