HOWLAND

Craig Butler, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency director, will deliver an update about agency matters impacting Ohioans, especially those in the Mahoning Valley, at a luncheon hosted by the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber’s Government Affairs Council from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 13, at Leo’s Ristorante.

The Ohio EPA has been at the center of several local issues in recent years, from the Sebring water crisis to the Trumbull County septic consent decree.

The state agency provides tens of millions of dollars in grants to local governments and companies.

The program is being sponsored by Aqua Ohio, Kokosing and the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments.

The cost is $25 for chamber members, $35 for others; and reservations may be made online at regionalchamber.com or by contacting Mary Beth Wyko at 330-744-2131 or Marybeth@regionalchamber.com.
