Arrest: While responding to a noise complaint at a Market Street motel, police took into custody Darrnell A. Gibson Jr. 30, of Boardman, who was wanted on a Lake County bench warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court on a charge related to child support.

Burglary: To a residence in the 60 block of Shadyside Drive through a side door. A 55-inch TV was taken.

Theft: A man in his late 20s to mid-30s reportedly stole a USB cable and two USB memory sticks from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Theft: Timothy P. Patrick Jr., 39, of Loveland Avenue, Youngstown, was charged with taking four T-shirts valued at $52 from Walmart.

Arrest: Authorities responded to a possible civil matter at an apartment in the 6300 block of South Avenue, where they arrested Brittany Thomas, 28, of Lakewood Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of obstructing official business. Thomas, who also was wanted on a Trumbull County warrant charging disorderly conduct, provided false personal information, a report said.

Burglary/assault: A woman told police several teenagers entered her Clifton Drive residence, and her son alleged one of the teens had slammed him into a wall and slapped his face, leaving a red mark.

Theft: A Poland woman reported her $200 cellphone missing while she was in a Doral Drive big-box store.

Auto theft: A 2008 Jeep Compass was stolen from a driveway in the 600 block of Forestridge Drive.

Bad checks/forgery: The owner of a South Avenue business alleged a woman had forged his signature on numerous checks. A review of the company’s financial records revealed 33 checks totaling $29,159 were written between last September and this month that were not intended to have been issued, a police report stated.

Theft: A Turnberry Drive woman alleged a couple who had temporarily stayed with her stole clothing, a 32-inch TV and other items from her home.

Identity theft: An Oak Knoll Drive man found out someone without authorization had used his personal information to open a satellite-TV account.

Bad check: The Ohio State Highway Patrol handed to township police Eric L. Bailey Sr., 37, who was charged with one misdemeanor count of passing a bad check. Bailey, of Roxbury Avenue, Youngstown, was accused of writing such a $30 check Dec. 12, 2016, to buy a Christmas tree from a temporary sales lot on South Avenue.

Citation: Police responded to a disturbance at a Market Street movie theater, where they handed a 16-year-old Youngstown boy a minor-misdemeanor citation charging disorderly conduct.

Arrest: A traffic stop on Glenwood Avenue resulted in the arrest of Ryne M. Green of Knollwood Avenue, Poland, on charges of operating a vehicle impaired, receiving stolen property, drug abuse and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Green, 32, had several gift cards and credit cards that had been issued to two other people, a report showed.

Breaking and entering: Two people reportedly broke into two trailers next to Akron Children’s Hospital, 6505 Market St. One of the perpetrators used a fire extinguisher to break a window to one of the trailers, though nothing appeared to be missing, police said

Theft: A man in a green truck reportedly removed six wooden pallets from behind Walmart.

Menacing: A worker for a Boardman-Poland Road sporting-goods store reported a disgruntled customer threatened him with bodily harm during a dispute about a refund.

Theft: Heather M. Young, 36, of Prospect Street, New Castle, Pa., was charged in the theft of $344 worth of merchandise, including a pair of shorts, from Macy’s in Southern Park Mall.

Breaking and entering: Someone broke a window, likely with a wrench, and entered Youngstown Cycle Supply Inc., 6915 Market St., then stole a $1,000 motorcycle. A short time later, police reported having seen someone walking with the motorcycle before the suspect fled on foot, a report stated.

Auto theft: A 2016 Ford Escape was stolen in the 700 block of Orlo Lane.

Criminal mischief: Officers responded to complaints that several vehicles on and near Stoney Creek Drive had been struck with eggs. Also, a mailbox in the area was pulled from the ground.

Vandalism: A Youngstown woman reported someone in a dark vehicle traveling in the opposite direction tossed eggs at her car as she drove near Glenwood Avenue and Green Bay Drive.

Theft: A Hitchcock Road man reported an all-terrain vehicle stolen as he was test driving it.

Attempted breaking and entering: An East Western Reserve Road man saw that someone had entered his two cars, then apparently tried to break into his residence after he noticed a garage doorknob had been tampered with.

Auto theft: A 2016 Honda CRV was stolen in the 900 block of Truesdale Road.

Burglary: To a mobile home in the 4000 block of South Avenue, from which a prescription of over-the-counter medication was taken. A door was found to have been pried open.

Criminal damaging: A supervisor with a Market Street motel told police a tenant had used black hair dye to leave stains on a portion of carpet in a room and to damage a set of bath towels.

Criminal damaging: A woman noticed someone had broken an outside spigot and water line at the rear of her St. Albans Drive residence.

Theft: A Youngstown woman reported her purse stolen as she shopped at an East Midlothian Boulevard discount store.

Arrest: Authorities booked Elias V. Khoury, 18, of Caribou Drive, Boardman, on a first-degree misdemeanor charge of permitting underage alcohol consumption related to an underage drinking party police had responded to earlier this month at Khoury’s residence.

Burglary: Someone broke a front-door window before entering a home in the 100 block of Green Bay Drive. Stolen was $1,600 worth of property, including men’s clothing and miscellaneous tools.

Theft: A boy age 10 to 14 reportedly stole an $800 iPhone from Sam’s Club, 6361 South Ave.

Menacing: A Shields Road woman told officers her estranged husband had threatened her and her roommate via text messages.

Theft: A woman discovered a 55-inch flat-screen TV and a DVD player missing from her South Avenue apartment.

Theft by deception: While responding to a possible shoplifter at Marc’s, 7121 Tiffany Blvd., police charged Michelle F. Amilone, 37, of South Heights Avenue, Youngstown, with one misdemeanor theft-by-deception count after alleging Amilone had switched price tags on $25 worth of merchandise so as to pay a discounted amount.

Citations: Officers answered a call about someone possibly entering vehicles in the 7900 block of Glenwood Avenue, then issued a minor-misdemeanor citation to Angelle H. Schneider, 20, of East Midlothian Boulevard, Youngstown, charging her with having a device commonly used to grind marijuana. Also cited was a 17-year-old Youngstown boy on a charge of tobacco possession.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Tippecanoe Road woman said a man took and failed to return her 2007 Kia Optima.
