Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will offer breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Meals are free, and donations are accepted. A Bible study will take place at 9 a.m.

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road (Route 224), Poland, will offer a takeout only cavatelli dinner from 2:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out The dinner includes homemade sauce, two meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter and dessert for $9. Smaller portions of cavatelli and one meatball are $5. Homemade pasta fagioli will be $6 per quart and homemade pasta sauce, $5 per quart. Place your order, remain in your car and your dinner will be delivered to you.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, Youngstown, is offering a soup luncheon after the noon Lenten services. The menu includes wedding soup, bread, beverage and homemade dessert. Donations will be accepted. Quarts of soup to take home will be $6. This is the last sale.

THURSDAY

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will not have a dinner in April. Dinners will resume in May.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7. Drive up to the door and someone will take the dinners to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve your dinners. Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, will have homemade dinners to go from 3:30 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $7 and the meal includes baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans. Drive to the front of the church and someone will take the dinner to you. St. Jude Women’s Guild, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana, will sell drive-through dinners from 4 to 6 p.m., or until sold-out the first Thursday of the month. The menu comprises stuffed pepper, mashed potatoes, applesauce, roll and butter and dessert. The price is $8 and proceeds benefit the renovation and expansion of the church.

Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will host a drive-through chicken dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out for $8 each. A stuffed chicken breast comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a brownie.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will host a dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. The meal comprises Haddock, chicken or shrimp, fries, coleslaw and a roll for $10, children’s portion $5. Pirogies are $4.50. Carryout or eat-in. Beverages will be available. Call 330-654-5630.

Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 state Route 193 at state Route 305, will serve a chicken-pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for 6 to 12, and 5 and under eat for free. Fowler Fire Department, 3386 Youngstown Kingsville Road, Cortland, will host its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $5 for children. Preschool-aged children eat free.

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, will be the location of a pancake and sausage breakfast for the benefit of Holy Family Youth Ministry. It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted and will be used for a missionary trip to the Appalachian area of Kentucky in June. The breakfast is sponsored by Holy Family Council of the Knights of Columbus 15573.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children.
