POLAND

Three people were arrested after a robbery at the Burger King on U.S. Route 224 in the township.

Dominic DePaul, 18, of Lake Milton, is charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping. He was arraigned in Struthers Municipal Court on Monday, where a judge set his total bond at $20,000, 10 percent cash or surety.

Also charged in connection with the incident is Angelle Schneider, 20, of Youngstown. She was arraigned Monday on a charge of obstructing official business. Her bond was set at $2,500, 10 percent cash or surety. Police said Schneider is an employee at the fast-food restaurant who was present at the time of the robbery and obstructed their investigation.

DePaul and Schneider were in the Mahoning County jail Monday.

U.S. marshals arrested a third person Monday, Jonathon Daviduk, 20, charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

According to police, three male suspects showed up at the restaurant shortly after midnight Monday. They reportedly came through the drive-thru brandishing what appeared to be guns, then ordered the employees to the ground and tied up two of them in a cooler.

The suspects then had one employee unlock a safe, from which they stole cash.

Police recovered some of the cash, as well as articles of clothing, on the route that the three took when they fled.

Mahoning County court records indicate that De-Paul and Schneider were arrested last week by Boardman Township police on a charge of underage possession of alcohol.

The records indicate that they were cited together.

DePaul also was cited involving minor misdemeanor drug possession in that case, according to court records.
