SENIOR CITIZENS
Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at Canfield Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. Monday. Nurses will be available for blood-pressure readings from noon to 12:45. Beverly Richardson of Columbiana will present the History on Columbiana and Fairfield Township. There will be a spring day bus trip Wednesday to Calvary Methodist Church which features Tiffany Glass with stops at Phipps Conservatory’s April flower show and the Frick Mansion. An overnight trip will be June 16 through 17 to Renfro Valley and Noah’s Ark in Kentucky. There will be two shows at Renfro Valley and a tour at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. Two dinners, one lunch and one breakfast are included plus accommodations at the Heritage Baymont Inn. For information on the trips, call Barbara at 330-757-0780. Lowellvillle Senior Citizens will have its monthly meeting at noon Friday at Lowellville City Hall conference room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. Lunch will be provided by Gianna’s Catering. SOAR 27-2 and 27-6 Steelworkers Retirees, Local Union 1330 and 1331 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome.
Trumbull Memorial Hospital Retirees’ will have its monthly meeting at 11:30 a.m. April 10 at the Buena Vista Restaurant. Barbara Turner from Mercy Hospital, will speak about human trafficking. No reservations are required.
Youngstown State University Retirees will have its monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana. All retirees are invited. Upcoming activities for senior citizens are published Sunday. Please submit the information to the Society Department by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
