Author of Air Force One book will sign copies

GIRARD

Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St., will host John L. Haigh for a book signing at 6:30 p.m. April 20.

Haigh will be signing copies of his book “Air Force One: An Honor, Privilege, and Pleasure to Serve.” There will be refreshments and coffee, and the event is free and open to the public.

New and Local Authors to take place Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN

Barnes & Noble, 381 Boardman-Poland Road, will host its New and Local Author Event from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Ann Kathleen Otto of Tallmadge will be signing copies of her historical novel, “Yours in a Hurry.”

The novel is set in the 1910s, and follows real and fictional characters in the fields of aviation and the movie industry in Hollywood.

The book is available for purchase online from Amazon.com and CreateSpace.com. Barnes & Noble in Youngstown also carries the book.
