ACTION plans annual fundraiser

YOUNGSTOWN

Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods will host its 15th annual fundraiser and banquet April 20 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall, 243 Via Mount Carmel Drive.

A social hour will take place from 5 to 6 p.m., and the dinner and program will be from 6 to 8.

Sen. Joseph Schiavoni of Boardman, D-33rd, will be the guest speaker. The theme will be “A Season of Change, Respect for All.”

Frances Kerspack Awards will be presented to Midlothian Health Clinic for the institutional service award; Sister Annie Hall, humanitarian award; and the Rev. Lewis W. Macklin II, community service award.

Tickets are $35 per person and will benefit ACTION’s programs to improve the quality of life in the Mahoning Valley.

Sponsors are needed for the banquet, with tax deductible donations available.
