In a project ending in August, state Route 46 will be repaved from the Columbiana County line to the Canfield city limit, with a 21-day closing for a culvert replacement just north of Western Reserve Road ending in mid-April, and a forthcoming 21-day closing between Calla and Western Reserve roads for a bridge replacement.
Completion is scheduled in June for a $19.2 million project that began in April 2014 to rehabilitate the bridge on U.S. Route 62 in Youngstown over state Route 289 (Wilson Avenue), the Mahoning River and railroad tracks.
U.S. Route 62 will be widened between Dartmouth and Sleepy Hollow drives in Canfield and resurfaced from Sleepy Hollow to the northern city limit in a $1.5 million project between May and July.
The Oakcrest Drive bridge over state Route 11 in Austintown will close for 75 days for a $1.5 million re-decking project sometime between October 2017 and December 2018.
Various ramps will close for three nights at the U.S. Route 224 and state Route 11 interchange; and state Route 11 southbound at the Interstate 80 interchange will close for one night in a $4 million resurfacing and minor bridge-repair project on state Route 11 from just south of U.S. Route 224 to Interstate 80. The project will be awarded in June and ends in July 2018.
Occasional one-night ramp closures will occur at the interchange of state Routes 11 and 82 in the $5 million resurfacing of state Route 82 from just east of Warren-Sharon Road to just east of state Route 193 in Howland and Vienna between May and November. Left turn lanes will be added at Niles-Vienna and Warner roads, and minor bridge repairs will occur on state Route 11.
State Route 11 in Liberty and Girard between Interstate 80 and just south of Niles-Vienna Road will be resurfaced and minor bridge repairs will be made in a $4 million project between May and September.
Anderson-Morris Road in Liberty Township will be closed from April 19 to June 23 for re-decking of the bridge carrying it over state Route 11. That is the last of four bridges over state Route 11 to be re-decked in Howland and Liberty in a $5.6 million project that began in May 2015.
State Route 82 between state Routes 534 and 5 and state Route 305 between U.S. Route 422 and state Route 534 in Braceville and Southington will be resurfaced in a $1.6 million effort that includes minor bridge repairs between April and July, with state Route 82 closing for five days.
