Organist concert at Stambaugh

Alan Morrison will present a pipe organ concert at Stambaugh Auditorium at 7 p.m. Nov. 20.

Morrison is an organist, teacher, recording artist, adjudicator and pianist/chamber musician. He is also the head of the organ departments at both the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and Westminster Choir College of Rider University. He is also the college organist at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa.

Morrison has performed at festivals in Canada, Europe and South America, and at four national conventions of the American Guild of Organists.

Morrison is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School of Music with degrees in both organ and piano accompanying chamber music. He has recorded 10 albums.
