Kristen Shepherd and Daniel Crish will marry Oct. 8

Atty. David A. and Mary Ann Shepherd of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kristen A. Shepherd, to Daniel C. Crish, both of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

The parents of the prospective groom are David A. and Linda S. Crish of Poland.

The wedding will take place Oct. 8 at Poland Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow at the Youngstown Country Club. Invitations will be sent for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from the University of Akron with a master’s degree in speech language pathology and is employed by OhioHealth as a pediatric speech language pathologist.

The prospective groom also graduated from UA with master’s degrees in education and curriculum and instruction. He is a teacher for Jackson-Milton Local School District.
