Veteran honored at Patriot Day celebration

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Ken Calhoun, commander of the All-American VFW Meander Post 9571, was one of 11 veterans honored at the Sept. 9 Patriot Day celebration at Quaker Steak & Lube, Austintown. Calhoun served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Army and Air Force. He retired after serving for 28 years and in three wars, Vietnam, Persian Gulf and the War on Terror.
