SDLqThe Best Christmas Pageant Ever,SDRq directed by Paul Angelucci, New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa. Auditions will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Tuesday. Performances will take place Dec. 2-4 and 8-11. Roles are available for four men age 20 to 50, eight boys age 8 to 13, six women age 25 to 60 and nine girls age 8 to 15. “In the Spirit of Christmas,SDRq directed by Sam Luptak Jr., Victorian Players, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Auditions at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday. Performances will take place Dec. 2-4 and 9-11. “In The Spirit of Christmas” is an evening of one-act shows with Christmas themes. Roles for actors of all ages, sizes, types and levels of experience are available in this show. There are great opportunities for first-timers and children age 5 and up.
