“The Choice” (9 p.m., PBS): “Frontline” revives its excellent election-year series “The Choice.” It’s a side-by-side biographical look at Clinton and Trump that delves behind the headlines to examine what life experiences shaped them, how they lead and why they covet one of the toughest jobs around.

“Aftermath” (10 p.m., Syfy): On the harrowing new post-apocalyptic thriller “Aftermath,” it’s the end of the world as they know it. We follow one family as it deals with supernatural creatures and various disasters. Anne Heche and James Tupper head the cast.

Actors, models sought by agency

LeModeln Model and Talent Agency, 7536 Market St., is seeking actors for two projects. Those interested should call 330-758-4417.

The first project will be Wednesday in the Pittsburgh area, and will take 12-14 hours, starting early in the morning, for the movie “Downward Dog.” Pay is $8 per hour ($12 after the first eight hours).

Needed are male joggers, 18-45 years old; bicyclists (with bicycles), male and female, 18-50; and “New York” pedestrians, male and female, 18-60.

Also needed are male and female actors to play waitstaff, upscale club members and a male bartender.

Auditions also will take place Friday and Saturday evening in Cleveland for male and female hair models, age 18 to 60 (all ethnicities, height, and hair color, length and textures).

Show dates will be Sunday and Monday. Those selected will earn up to $500.

The Capitol Steps at Stambaugh

National political satire comedy troupe The Capitol Steps will come to Stambaugh Auditorium on Oct. 5 for a 7:30 p.m. show to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley. A VIP cocktail reception ($75) will be at 5:30 p.m., featuring political convention-style fun: photos with life-sized figures of the candidates, an appearance by Uncle Sam and an Americana themed buffet.
