NOAS adoption classes begin Saturday

Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, 5000 E. Market St., Suite 26, invites Ohio couples or singles to register for their free Adoption/Foster Care Pre-Placement Education series starting Saturday through Oct. 25.

People who have been considering becoming a foster or adoptive parent, adults older than 21, can find out more about Ohio children and teens served by the child welfare system while waiting for a permanent home.

Participants can learn more about the care, commitment, and strategies useful to prospective adoptive and foster parents.

The sign-up deadline is Thursday. If a participant can’t attend a certain session, make-up opportunities are available. Call Cindy Wallis at 800-686-6627, ext. 126 as soon as possible because of limited space.

Get the information packet in the mail and register to see if adoption or becoming a foster parent can be the right choice for you and your family.

NOAS does not charge fees to families for adoption.
