Youngstown Business and Professional Women will honor Rebecca L. Keck, Students Motivated by the Arts, SMARTS, executive director as its 2016 Woman of the Year at its National Business Women’s Week celebration in October. Keck has a long and distinguished career focused on helping our community and its youth.

SMARTS, of downtown Youngstown, is a community-based art school which seeks to motivate students to succeed in all areas of life by teaching them the discipline and focus that creating art takes. Future SMARTS classes will be offered in visual arts, music, dance, theater and creative writing.

Sunrise Inn Restaurant in downtown Warren has been rated as the best pizza shop in Trumbull County by Cleveland.com.

Cleveland.com went to Yelp to identify “The best pizza shop in each of Ohio’s 88 counties” and awarded Trumbull County’s prize to the Sunrise Inn at 510 East Market St. in downtown Warren.

In Mahoning County, Cornersburg Pizza at 3518 Canfield Road took the top rating.

In Columbiana County, Mary’s Pizza Shop located at 3011/2 N. Beaver St. in Lisbon took the top rating.

Ben Stoffer has been promoted to regional vice president for Medical Mutual of Ohio’s new Canton, Youngstown and Southeast region. His position was created in a reorganization of the company’s sales division.
