Danielle Downie, Scott Johnson set to be married

CANFIELD

Alex and Christine Downie of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Downie, to Scott Johnson, both of Columbus. Mr. Johnson is a son of Richard Johnson and Betsy Cartwright, both of Chillicothe, Ohio.

The wedding ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Grange Insurance Audobon Center, Columbus, and a reception will follow. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-elect graduated from Ohio State University with a master’s degree in education. She is a sixth grade teacher for Columbus City Schools.

The prospective groom also is a graduate of OSU, with a degree in finance and marketing. He is an operations supervisor for DePuy Synthes in Columbus.
