PRESIDENTIAL ROUNDUP Upcoming appearances


Here’s who will be in Northeast Ohio this weekend and next week campaigning for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

FOR CLINTON

Actors Bradley Whitford, Richard Schiff, Mary McCormack, Joshua Malina, cast members of “The West Wing,” the long-running TV drama, will be at the Clinton campaign’s Boardman office, 4927 Market St., Suite 6, at 10 a.m. today. They will talk to Clinton supporters who will canvass neighborhoods. They will then go to the campaign’s Garfield Heights office at 5422 E. 96th St., Suite 110, in the Cleveland area at 1 p.m. to do the same there.

Chelsea Clinton, the nominee’s daughter, and Academy-Award-winning actress Sally Field will speak at 2:45 p.m. today at the Covelli Centre’s community room, 229 E. Front St., Youngstown. Doors open at 2 p.m. The two will be in Mentor, at 9160 Mentor Ave., at 10 a.m. today to meet with campaign volunteers there.

FOR TRUMP

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the Republican vice presidential nominee, will have a rally Wednesday at Leetonia High School, 450 Walnut St. The rally will begin at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 3:30 p.m., according to the Trump website. Those who want to get free tickets to the Pence event in Leetonia need to RSVP at https://www.donaldjtrump.com/schedule/register/leetonia-oh/. This will be Pence’s third visit to the Mahoning Valley. He joined Trump at an invitation-only event July 15 at Youngstown State University, and at the Canfield Fair on Sept. 5. Pence made brief remarks at YSU and didn’t address the crowd at the fair.
