CCCN to host hoedown benefit

NORTH LIMA

Canfield Community Care Net is hosting its third annual Hoedown on Oct. 1 at Youngstown Shrine Club Inc., 1735 W. South Range Road.

The evening will begin at 7 p.m. and will include line dancing, liquor auction, cornhole tournament and a catered barbecue dinner.

Proceeds from the event will support the work of CCCN, which provides assistance to individuals residing in the Canfield Local School District by helping those coping with financial difficulties. CCCN is a volunteer organization that has distributed more than $400,000 to local families in the last decade.
