Bow-Wow-Ween set for Oct. 8

AUSTINTOWN

Legacy Dog Rescue will sponsor Bow-Wow-Ween, a community Halloween event from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 8 at Pogany Pavilion in Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Dogs must be leashed at all times, up to date on vaccinations and handled by an adult to participate.

Featured will be pet/kid photos, refreshments, a basket auction, games and goodies.

For a $5 donation, a pet or child can be entered in all costume contests. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes in several categories.

Proceeds will help save dogs that have been abandoned, abused or neglected, and place them in loving homes.
