Power is restored

CANFIELD

Power was restored to about 300 homes and businesses that lost power Thursday afternoon.

Police told 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, a downed utility pole shut down a road in Canfield and cut power to those customers around 3:45 p.m.

Police told the television station that the pole just fell, and was not knocked down due to an accident involving a vehicle.

These roads in Mill Creek Park will close to vehicular traffic, cyclists and pedestrians from 7 a.m. until noon Sunday for the MS Super Walk: West, Bears Den, New Cross and Cross drives.
