MetroParks thanks patrons for helping ID intimidation graffiti suspect

Mill Creek MetroParks is thanking its users after they helped identify a suspect who police believe drew anti-Semitic graffiti throughout the park.

“We are incredibly thankful for park patrons, who not only helped us get the graffiti removed, but the witness who helped us identify and ultimately arrest the suspect,” Lori Shandor, MetroParks development director, said.

Charged in the incidents which occurred over the last week is Scott Spencer, 25, whose listed address in court records is on Hood Drive in Canfield. He is charged with ethnic intimidation, a fifth-degree felony, and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
