Canfield police looking for Youngstown man who skipped out on court hearing

CANFIELD — Officers are looking for a Youngstown man charged with child endangering after he did not show up for an afternoon hearing at Mahoning County Area Court.

Police Detective Joshua Wells said when court is back in session on Tuesday a judge will sign a bench warrant for the arrest of Zachary Irvin, 28, of West Warren Avenue.

According to a police report, Irvin left children alone in a motel room at Evergreen Motel, 485 W. Main St., Tuesday night.

Officers located Irvin at a nearby store and arrested him for child endangering.
